About Me

My name is Mallory and I am an accountant. I thought that was one of the worst sounding jobs until recently - when I found out I would be going to London for a year for a project.  I am the typical twenty-something who finished grad-school and moved to the big city with a big girl job. I loved my little uptown apartment, my big city, and being financially independent - which meant a whole shoe collection. 

Little did I know that I would be packing up that uptown apartment (and moving it back home!?), buying a huge winter coat and some rain boots and leaving the "big city" I thought I knew for a "bigger city" across the pond. And that cellphone? Sure miss being able to pick up the phone and call the friends and family that I talk to daily. Goodbye Corolla, hello London Tube.

Am I ready for this new adventure? Absolutely not. But here is my best shot. Lets think "first day of school" jitters times 12.
